Anna Dixon MP

Anna Dixon was elected as MP for Shipley on 4th July, 2024. Anna said: “I was fortunate enough to take part in the Jo Cox Women in Leadership Programme and I am proud to be the first woman to represent this seat. I look forward to working with all the amazing women who have been elected for the first time tonight. For everyone in Shipley – those who voted for me, those who voted differently, and those who didn’t vote – I promise to represent you all and be your voice in parliament.

We have five hard-working Labour Councillors in our Constituency, Cllr Susan Hinchcliffe, (Windhill & Wrose ward), Cllr Alex Ross-Shaw, (Windhill and Wrose ward), Cllr Liz Rowe (Windhill and Wrose ward) Cllr Susan Fricker (Bingley East ward) Cllr Chris Steele (Wharfedale ward).

CLP meetings (members only) are usually held on the first Friday of each month, 7.30 – 9.30, at the Windhill Community Centre, except April and December.
