Shipley Labour Women are very much part of the strength of Shipley Labour Party. We have women in many of the key roles, 3 out of our 4 Labour Councillors are women (part of the 48% of Labour Councillors in Bradford who are women), and our Parliamentary Candidate Jo Pike is also a woman.

Our Women’s Forum meets when necessary or at least every three months, usually with a guest speaker on a topic of particular interest to our women members. Speakers have included Freedom4Girls speaking about period poverty, and Bradford West MP Naz Shah.
